Trophy Room

Some pics of personal bests and other memorable fish from various trips about the place

A 35lb plus Chinnok Salmon from the west coast of Victoria Island, Canada.  It was a real experience catching these fat migratory fish.

A few GT'S on fly from Arnhemland.

Longtail tuna - It took me a while to get my first longtail and even though I have now landed a lot they still remain one of my favourite fish to catch on fly.

57cm of Australian Bass, going to be a hard one to beat.

my first 50 plus bass, a 53cm from about 15 years ago when I first started chasing bass,  I never thought i would get a better one...

I love catching Queenfish and have caught a lot of them over the years.  I especially love throwing surface poppers for them. A meter plus Queenie is hard to beat.

My PB Toga from Yellow Waters in Kakadu, ancient fish in an ancient landscape, X-Stream

Mackeral are true speedsters,  extra good on the flyrod.

A range of Trevally including Goldens, Brassy and Turrum from  Arnhemland NT.

I had an amazing session catching these Black Sea Bass off BC in Canada.

I travel half way around the world to catch this Bonefish,  not my biggest but it was my first and a very memorable fish for me.

A PB Threadfin Salmon from the wilds of the Northern Territory
Giant Herring are true sportfish, the take flies, runn fast and jump,  that is about as good as it gets.

A Coho Salmon from BC Canada, another species for the list

I had a very memorable day sight fishing the crystal clear waters of Turangi Toupo in New Zealand that included my PB 7+lb rainbow.

One of 28 trout landed fishing in the NZ backcountry with my good friend Sonny. This was the most memorable days trout fishing I have ever had, crystal clear waters in a beautiful remote gorge, sight fishing to fat and fit rainbows.

I have not done a lot of barra fishing and have struggled to better  85cm,  but  it's early days....
