I had a very memorable day sight fishing the crystal clear waters of Turangi Toupo in New Zealand that included my PB 7+lb rainbow.
One of 28 trout landed fishing in the NZ backcountry with my good friend Sonny. This was the most memorable days trout fishing I have ever had, crystal clear waters in a beautiful remote gorge, sight fishing to fat and fit rainbows.
I have not done a lot of barra fishing and have struggled to better 85cm, but it's early days....
